Siuntio is a bilingual municipality with Finnish and Swedish as its official languages. The population consists of 65% Finnish speakers, 26% Swedish speakers, and 9% speakers of other languages. Previously, the majority of the population spoke Swedish until the 1980s.
Siuntio's motto is "Ota rauhallisesti – Ta det lugnt", which means "take it easy" in Finnish and Swedish respectively. The municipality's rebranding program introduced the new motto along with a new logo in 2021.
